На День Благодарения старшая школа пригласила начальную школу и дошкольное отделение на просмотр мультфильма об истории праздника, который восьмиклассники сделали сами. Малыши тоже помогали в создании мультика. Именно они нарисовали главных героев: индюшек-ладошек, а ребята из театральной студии нарисовали декорации – зеленые поля Англии, леса Америки, урожай и корабль Mayflowers. Сколько было восторга, когда малыши увидели своих индюшек на экране!!! Отовсюду были слышны возгласы:
- Вот моя розовая индюшка!
- А вот моя! Она движется и плывет на корабле!
Ребята из 8 класса подготовили не только мультфильм; они сделали красочную презентацию и рассказали о традициях, истории и интересных фактах, касающихся праздника «День Благодарения». Презентация была на английском языке, но для малышей старшеклассники подготовили русский перевод. Кульминацией выступления стал видеоролик (подготовленный Григорием О.) о параде Мэйсис в Нью Йорке: воздушные шары в виде известных мультипликационных персонажей и сотни клоунов создают незабываемое впечатление от парада.
Восьмиклассники наградили студентов начальной школы грамоты за прекрасную анимацию, а малыши вручили своим старшим товарищам Индюк-Оскара за лучшую мультипликационную работу о Дне Благодарения.
