Student Council

The student council of IG Skolkovo is a an elected body of self-governing students designed to actively maintain a cohesive team of students, teachers and parents. 

The leader of the student council is the President, who is elected by students from the 8th through 11th grades. The student council is comprised of various committees which are headed by their respective leaders. Primary school students become acquainted with the student government via their involvement in student activities organized by respective committees. Middle School students become involved in student government by gradually becoming more involved in the planning of various school activities. 

The primary responsibilities of the Student Council are: 

• Strive to develop a cohesive, unified school 
• Organize and carry out school-wide events 
• Develop the the necessary life skills through student council that can be used to help develop into successful people that contribute to the betterment of society
