The 5th annual Open Innovations forum, the biggest event in Russia devoted to developing national innovations, will take place on October 26-28. This year, it is being hosted for the first time by the Skolkovo Technopark, the biggest in Europe. 

During the three-day forum, the Technopark will host more than 12,000 visitors from 30 countries. The forum comprises more than 90 interactive events, ranging from panel discussions, presentations and lectures, to master classes, pitch sessions and hackathons.

Open Innovations has been held in Moscow every year since 2012 at the initiative of the Russian government. The organiser of this year's event is the Skolkovo Foundation, and the co-organisers are the Economic Development Ministry, the Moscow government, the Rusnano foundation for infrastructure and educational programmes, Russian Venture Company, Vnesheconombank, and the Assistance for Innovations Foundation.
