How artificial intelligence changes our lives - the experience of Google. Lecture by Greg Corrado

Tue 3:00 PM
Tue 30 May 2017 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM (UTC+03:00) Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd

Greg Corrado is a senior research scientist and technical director of the research center at Google, co-founders of the Google Brain Team, will talk about research in machine learning, the technology behind artificial intelligence.

Today, humanity is on the verge of large-scale changes. The mobile phone has become a part of everyday life and has led to enormous changes in the behavior of people: now, with a small, palm-sized device, people get access to all the information of the world in their native language. With the help of this small device they can in a matter of seconds sell or buy a thing, find the address or translate an inscription made in a language they do not know. For entrepreneurs, the era of artificial intelligence opens up entirely new prospects, placing them in equal conditions. So, with the help of artificial intelligence technologies, relying on sales data and using special algorithms, entrepreneurs are able to evaluate demand, offer individual conditions for different customers and customers.

This and many other things become possible due to the development of artificial intelligence technologies. In his lecture, Greg will talk about what is behind the technologies that are changing the opportunities of people everywhere, opening new prospects for personal growth and business development, as well as about the latest directions of scientific thought in this area.
