On March 29, 2012 at 11:00 am the Skolkovo Foundation, in conjunction with the Ministry of Energy and major oil and gas companies of Russia, announced the launch of a competition for innovative projects aimed at improving the energy efficiency of primary and secondary processes of extraction, processing and sale of oil and gas.

The competition will be open to all organizations involved in the development of energy efficient technologies in the field of mining, processing and sale of oil and gas in actual production activities of the oil and gas sector.
The contest will be held from March 29 to April 25, 2012. The finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects to the heads of major oil and gas companies of Russia in as part of a final round table to be held in May 2012.

To participate in the contest, applicants should send a completed application form and the resumes of the project manager and at least two key employees electronically to the email address Cluster-Energy@corp.i-gorod.com.

1. Mikhail Slobodin - Executive vice-president of TNK-BP Management;
2. Pavel Svistunov - Director of the department of energy, modernization and development of the fuel and energy complex of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation;
3. Vasily Belov - Executive director of the energy efficiency cluster of the Skolkovo Foundation.
