Macroscop is the Russian innovative company that develops video management software for IP cameras.

There are more than 17 000 video surveillance systems run by Macroscop, with over 200 000 IP cameras working. With 3000+ distributors and system integrators, Macroscop partners are located in more than 25 countries including the Russian Federation, France, Great Britain, the USA, Australia, Nigeria, and many others.

Market

According to the forecast of A&S Magazine, the video surveillance market will reach $42.1 billion with the 17% rise per year in the period from 2014 to 2020. As for the IP sector, the average CARG is expected to be 23.5% during the above mentioned period of time.

In May, 2015 the British research company – IHS – published the video surveillance market size data collected on the territory of the Russian Federation and the countries of Eastern Europe: $595.1 billion, where half of it is shared by Russian companies.

The history of Macroscop dates back to 2008 when the company founders came up with the idea of working with data received from the cameras in such a way that that the problem of video analysis in big archives is solved. 

Today Macroscop is a team of specialists who focus on the spheres of video analysis, development, marketing and sales. Every day Macroscop team strives to accomplish the mission of the company: “To embody what seemed impossible” in order to make the video surveillance systems highly efficient for the needs of humanity.

The sphere of activities: the development of video management software and hardware-based solutions for IP video surveillance. 

History in brief:

•In 2008 Artem Razumkov (CEO) and Alexander Korobkov (chief architect) came up with 2 scientific ideas aimed at solving the problem of video analysis in big archives. Macroscop Company was founded. 

•In 2009 OJSC “Alliance ROSNO Asset Management”  invested venture capital into the company 

•In 2010 the company represented the Russian Federation at EXPO 2010 in Shanghai, where the countries competed in the technological achievements.

•Dmitriy Medvedev, the president of the Russian Federation, awarded Artem Razumkov who won the national award of Vladimir Zvorykin.

•The company became one of the first Skolkovo residents.

•In 2011 Macroscop software won a gold medal in the competition “The best innovative product” at the largest exhibition of professional security systems – MIPS 2011 – on the territory of the Russian Federation. 

•In 2013 the company started the international expansion and the first sales abroad took place.

•In 2014 the Allianz Investments (ex. OJSC “Alliance ROSNO Asset Management”) left the Macroscop capital with the profit return of 1000%.

•In 2015 Macroscop company was among the three rapidly increasing companies according to “Tehuspeh 2015”, the national rating of Russian rapidly increasing technological companies.
