Anamezon LLC. conducts research in the following directions:
- investigations in the field of nonlinear dynamics, information and communication technologies based on dynamic chaos.
- wireless UWB communications and sensor networks based on chaotic signals.
- UWB wireless personal-area infrastructure based on dynamic chaos.
UWB wireless means of communication, developed within these directions, use a novel unlicensed frequency band 3.1 – 10.6 GHz and provide indoor data transmission with the rates 100 Kbps to 50 Mbps. Chaotic radio pulses, an original Russian design highly appreciated by national and foreign specialists, are used as UWB information carrier. This technology is included in two international standards: standard for personal-area UWB communications 802.15.4a "Wireless Medium Access Control (MAC) and Physical Layer (PHY) Specifications for Low-Rate Wireless Personal Area Networks (LR-WPANs)" and standard IEEE 802.15.6 "Wireless Medium Access Control (MAC) and Physical Layer (PHY) Specifications for Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPANs) used in or around a body".
Main distinctions of the presented technology from the existing networked means of wireless local-area and personal-area communications (WiFi, Bluetoth, ZigBee) are:
- use of novel unoccupied unlicensed frequency band with aggregate throughput dozens of times higher than that of bands 2.4 and 5 GHz;
- high immunity to multipath propagation, characteristic of indoor environment;
- biological safety due to ultra-low integral emission power, spread over wide frequency band;
- noiselike chaotic signals used for data transmission are unobtrusive for third-party observer, which gives additional security at physical layer;
- low power consumption, effective scalable transmission of all kinds of data, quick deployment of large number of nodes.
By now, a wide range of products is designed, based on the presented technology, from components of wireless UWB communication systems to ready-made solutions of wireless sensor networks for various applications: chaos generators, UWB small-sized transceivers for wireless personal-area communications, active UWB RFID, Education & Research Kit for UWB wireless communications, UWB wireless sensor networks.
The technology is protected by 5 Russian and 4 international patents.
