SPUTNIX, a resident of the innovative center Skolkovo, has launched a project and task management system.
The system was developed by Bauman Moscow State Technical University with use of Ruby-on-Rails technology. The Redmine project management system was used as the basis. The university adjusted the program to operational conditions of a small team and to satellite projects implementation. The system has all key functions for task development and control over their implementation, timelines and other necessary tools.
Redmine, a server web application with an open code for project management, has a good track record at the BMSTU Youth Space Centre where it was refined and adjusted for Baumanets 2 objectives.
"Launching a project management system that was tested at BMSTU is a practical outcome of cooperation between the country’s leading technical university and our company. The system will help us enhance manageability of our project activity that includes simultaneous implementation of a number of projects, both of different scale and at different stages of their life cycle", - notes Andrei Potapov, SPUTNIX General Director.
