Oriense develops high-tech assisting devices for the blind and visually impaired.

Our devices combine computer vision and navigation technology and are designed to increase self-sufficiency and social adaptation of visually disabled people.

Works are carried out in close cooperation with the future users and aimed at addressing the really important problems of blind people.

At the moment, we released few test units of our device, that run active testing in Russian Society for the Blind.

Release of the full-scale device, that combines local and global navigation, planned for summer 2014.


For now it's 180 million of blind and visually impaired people in the world. World Health Organisation forecasts 275 mln. in 2020. Target audience is 22,5 mln. people in this year.

The efficiency of OrCam device proves a solvency of the market. Solution what was created just for visually impaired, was sold more than 600 pcs., in 2 weeks, with retail cost $2500. Retail cost of Oriense device will be $1000
