The presentation will let you find more on the interactive Skolkovo’s pavilion at the Venice Biennale and will open a door to the entire Innovation city architectural concept.

On August 26 a contest committee of the Venice architecture biennale completed a preliminary study (preview) of all participants of the show. Before this data the concept of the Skolkovo pavilion (as well as all others) remained at secret, while there are just two days left before the opening of the show, scheduled on August 29. Nevertheless, you can already get acquainted with its presentation. And soon we’ll show you on our website the pavilion itself.

The idea of the pavilion as a virtual tour around the Innovation city was developed by the Biennale’s Russian commissar Gregory Revzin, and the architectural studio «SPEECH Choban&Kuznetsov». As Sergei Choban said, the excursion around the Skolkovo’s pavilion will look like a virtual game, which, when playing will imitate the process of exploring the world through the internet, where… just as at the world of science you don’t see all picture at once.”

The consequent multimedia presentations were developed by TreeLev, a team of mobile applications and software developers. The technical realization was carried out by several Russian and foreign companies, including Velko2000, StudioNEW, STfacade, Flexlite among others. More than a dozen of different architectural bureaus, partners of the Skolkovo foundation, who work at the innovation city construction, will also present their creations at the Biennale. Among them AREP, David Copperfield Architects, Valode&Piste, Mohsen Mostafavi, Herzog & de Meuron, OMA and others.

The innovation city master plan, broken into stages of its realization, state of the art projects, which combine residence areas and dwelling facilities with technopark’s laboratories and offices, the Skolkovo boulevard, the central axis of the city, recreational and logistical solutions, as well as famous futuristic “Rock” and “Dome” projects: all of these and much more, find in this presentation. You will also find here interviews with authors of all key projects of the Innovation city, which answer questions you might have wanted to ask them too.
