The agreement will help the technopark to reach a synergy with the Finnish Startup Sauna, which is the organizer of the Slush forum. It will also help the technopark to get an access to thousands of European start-uppers, who work together with this well-known accelerator.
And, as the general director of the technopark Sergey Kurilov said right after the ceremony, the “Startup Suana” actively works on European and Russian markets and cooperation with such a noticeable player will let the Foundation to develop competences in the field of acceleration and startups development, as well as setting such popular and cost effective events as the “Slush”.
“We need to attract best experience to our Skolkovo spot”, Sergey Kurilov said. “And the Startup Sauna is one of the strongest players on the Russian market, although they experience some problems in Russia,” he said. Kurilov also added that the interest of the Foundation to the Startup Sauna also lies in an opportunity to get an access to community, formed by the Startup Sauna in Europe”.
