Nationwide Russian StartUp Tour started in Chelninsky IT Park on 18 March.


Before the session started, the Director of Information Technologies Park “Naberezhnye Chelny”, Ramil Ibragimov, presented to institutes from Moscow the local projects which are residents of the regional business incubator, the pride of the local IT-industry, including: "Octopus-technology", "quantifier", "Riel- Engineering », “Partizan-Info”, “Eleven” and others.

Pekka Viljakainen, the main organizer and evangelist of Russian Start Up Tour from the "Skolkovo" Fund, who received the name ‘Bulldozer’ from the global startup community because of his energy and determination, announced in front of an entirely full venue the beginning of this big nationwide tour in support of start-ups, describing its primary purpose: to connect young innovators from the regions, to help them coordinate their efforts with the state institutes for development, to achieve synergies and a dynamic development, and invite the best projects to become residents and program participants of the federal institutions for development. He also presented the Fund and described in more detail the role of the "Skolkovo" Fund in development programs for the benefit of start-ups, and the opportunities that are available to them.

From Pekka Viljakainen’s team at Fund "Skolkovo", Michael Myagkov, the Vice President for academic affairs at “Skoltech”, talked at Naberezhnye Chelny about how the University is preparing to become an important platform for acceleration of innovation. Other experts of the Fund also spoke before the startup audience, including the manager for commercialization, Vera Koryakina, and investment services analyst, Olesya Naletova.

For them and other experts from Russian institutes for development, the Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny resident companies made presentations of their projects, including: “Partizan-Info”, “Vse evakuatyry Rosiye", “Sensomed”, “Acodemy”, "UniverTehnoBitum" and “SkyRobot”.
