LONDON. TEDIPAY and Skolkovo resident company CardsMobile jointly bring to the market a groundbreaking secure platform for mobile payments and smart transit ticketing.
TEDIPAY (London, UK) and CardsMobile (St. Petersburg, Russia) announced a partnership to create an open wearables platform for secure contactless payments, mass transit and access control at the UnBound London conference.
TEDIPAY developed an innovative wearables solution based on the PN66T chip, the latest in the family of integrated Secure Elements and NFC controllers from NXP Semiconductors, who is powering millions of mobile phone devices. Integration with CardsMobile’s mobile platform including Trusted Service Manager (TSM) certified by MasterCard allows TEDIPAY to bring into the mainstream uses such as bank card aggregation (CardsMobile’s wallet-like applications), mass transit (“pocket ticket vending machine”), IT security and access control to name a few.

“When it comes to mobile payments, our partnership with CardsMobile will enable banks worldwide to offer their customers greater convenience and flexibility on an unprecedented scale. TEDIPAY delivers the same user experience as Apple Pay, but via an open wearables platform,” said Alexander Peschkoff, CEO of TEDIPAY.
In addition to the NFC interface, TEDIPAY’s secure wearables platform also features Bluetooth Low Energy for seamless integration with any smartphone.

Founded in 2012 in St. Petersburg, CardsMobile is a Russian technology company and a Skolkovo resident that specializes in contactless mobile payments and mobile services based on NFC technology using its own Trusted Service Manager and Cloud-Based Payments platform. This MasterCard-certified platform features an open API interface for fast third party integration. The platform also supports Host Card Emulation (HCE) technology for bank cards, transport tickets and loyalty programs.
The company recently launched its own mobile wallet application for Android OS that makes it possible to issue MasterCard contactless bank cards, transport cards and mobile coupons. The wallet app is pre-installed on compatible models of HTC, Sony and Philips smartphones, and is also available on Google Play.
