Investment company "Finmarkt" plans to invest 1 billion dollars in the creation of multi-modal transport hub-main entrance to the future of innovation city Skolkovo, told an investor, a member of the project to construct a "gate" Said Salam Gutseriev.

"The investment will amount to a billion dollars, it is the entire project", he told reporters on Wednesday.

Gutseriev said that investment in the first stage construction of the transportation hub will amount to 4 billion rubles.

According to him, within the framework of the project will be created, in particular, transport area of Skolkovo at an intermediate level and commercial objects. Gutseriev said the project is expected to be paid for 12 years.

"Skolkovo Fund " and investment company "Finmarkt" signed Wednesday an agreement on basic conditions of interaction during the construction of the multi-modal transport hub (hub).

The agreement was signed by President of the Skolkovo Foundation Viktor Vekselberg and President of company "Russneft" Mikhail Gutseriev, which is subject to control by the company "Finmarkt"-the future investor the design, construction and operation of transport hub.

Head of development "daughter" Commons "Skolkovo" Anton Yakovenko explained that the new hub will become a kind of central entrance into the innovation city Skolkovo. According to him, there will, in particular, organized transfer from Moscow to environmentally friendly transportation in skolkovo.

Key objects of transport hub will be, inter alia, transport area Innovation Center "Skolkovo" at an intermediate level, area of public transport on the lower level, commercial property, located in the pedestrian and transport areas.

Approximate area hub is 30 thousand square meters, the first phase of construction should be completed by may 2014, fully object is to be put into operation before the end of 2015 onwards.

Innovation Center "Skolkovo" must become Russia's largest testing ground of the new economic policy. In specially assigned territories in the Middle Suburbs will create special conditions for research and development, including the creation of energy and energy efficiency technologies, nuclear, aerospace, biomedical and computer technologies.
