Fun and games aside, the core of Slush is in presenting the variety of startups from the region to the international angel and VC investor community.
We have great international partners working with us to make sure we locate and bring the most interesting high growth firms to Slush.
One of our main partners is the Russian innovation laboratory Skolkovo that will both bring its startup network in great numbers to Slush as well as present the activities and opportunities of this globally unique initiative to Slush participants.
Skolkovo Foundation, based in the city of Skolkovo, near Moscow, is focused on building the emerging “Russian Silicon Valley” startup community based on three main pillars, the Skolkovo Institute of Technology, dozens of high tech corporate R&D centers and a thousand startups.

But why is it beneficial for Skolkovo-based startups to attend Slush?
