The Technopark office building will be located in district D1. of the Skolkovo Innovation Center
The new office will be constructed from modern, eco-friendly, energy-efficient, and fast erected modular construction technology. The total area of the building, consisting of four blocks, will amount to 30,000 sq.m. Planned to start operating no later than December 2013, the first building at the Technopark will host participating-companies' representative offices.
Andrey Rakhmaninov, procurement director at Skolkovo Foundation said: "Construction of the Technopark office building at Skolkovo Innovation Center is an fascinating project. I would like to invite companies to participate in this tender and hope for some interesting competition among the vendors. In the near future we will conduct a series of biddings for the construction and design of units at the Innovation Center.."
The price for constructing the Skolkovo Technopark office center will be determined based on the proposed bids that are received. The winner will be announced on May 21, 2013.
The Skolkovo Innovation Center is emblematic of a desire to construct and innovate using the latest knowledge and technology. The master plan was developed by French company AREP with the participation of engineering company SETEC and famous landscaping architect Michel Devine, one of the participants in the "Big Paris" project. The Skolkovo Innovation Center is designed as a chain of connected, stand-alone compact districts, incorporated in the landscape.
Sergey Choban, leading partner of architect company "SPEECH Choban & Kuznetsov", and also a member of the town planning council at Skolkovo Foundation said: "Construction of the Technopark office building at Skolkovo Innovation Center is another important stage in the completion of the Skolkovo master plan. The use of energy-efficient technology will make this building an example of innovative construction in Russia."
