Development of space technologies within the framework of Skolkovo innovation center will become a subject of Skolkovo Foundation Consulting Science Council meeting held in Moscow on Thursday.
The two-day meeting agenda comprises signing ceremony of Memorandum of cooperation between the Foundation and Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.
It is expected that the document will be signed the RAMN (Russian Academy of Medical Sciences) President Ivan Dedov and executive director of biological and medical technologies cluster Igor Goryanin. The parties will cooperate, particularly, with the object to optimize implementation mechanisms of innovation projects on bio-medicine, bio-pharmaceutics and medical bio-informatics and fostering of biomedical startup pools.
Skolkovo and RAMN collaboration will be focused on RF medical and pharmaceutical-processing industry improvement due to its remodeling and transfer to development and production of pharmaceuticals compliant with international standards.
Moreover, on Thursday, in the Moscow Polytechnic museum, Consulting Science Council Co-Chairman, Nobel laureate, Zhores Alfyorov will make a lecture "Semiconductor Revolution of the XX Century" for Skolkovo Open University students.
The forthcoming Skolkovo Consulting Science Council meeting will be the fourth one. The first Council meeting took place in Moscow on the 15th of October, 2010.
