Staff of the Skolkovo Foundation express their deepest condolences with regard to death of the member of the Russian Academy of Science, eminent figure in the national science and technology, one of the founders of the applied cosmonautics, Boris Evseevich Chertok. Boris Evseevich was one of our fellow countrymen who greatly contributed to the formation of the Russian scientific and innovative potential and founded the basis for world space activity. His scientific and organizational achievements in the sphere of development of launch vehicles, space devices and control systems, along with the works of Sergey Pavlovich Korolyov and his teammates, helped create the national space-rocket and nuclear-rocket potential.
