I am very pleased that this year the Russian pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale has received a prestigious award - the Special Jury Prize. For the first time in the history of Russia's participation in this international exhibition we have received an award. With a sense of absolute pride with our success and success of the architectural concept of the Skolkovo innovation city, I thank all those involved in the prize.
First of all, I’d like to thank the Ministry of Culture, which found it possible to exhibit the Skolkovo project on behalf of Russia in the international biennale. Exceptional creative involvement of the Russian commissioner Gregory Revzin and curators of the Russian exposition Sergey Choban, Sergei Kuznetsov, Valeria Kashirina, who led us to this award. Your approach to the representation of the architecture of the Soviet science cities and the Skolkovo Innovation city deserved serious international recognition of the Russian architecture and technology.
I also appreciate work of all the architects, who participate in design and construction of the innovation center. I would also like to note the contribution of all employees of Skolkovo, as this prize is also a recognition of high professionalism of your work on the project.
