Russian Prime-Minister Dmitry Medvedev award the Industry prize to Sergey Morozov, CEO of DATADVANCE at Innoprom 2016 in Yekaterinburg
Sergey Morozov, CEO of DATADVANCE: “We are honoured to get this prestigious prize from the hands of the Russian Prime-Minister. This is a true acknowledgement of our work and the technology that we develop. It is widely applied by the foreign companies. For example, our technology allowed the aircraft corporation Airbus to decrease its engineering time by 10 per cent. I hope that receiving the Industry prize will accelerate the implementation of our technology in the Russian manufacturing companies”.
DATADVANCE is one the first resident companies of the Skolkovo Foundation. It got its status in December 2010 and already in June 2011 it received the grant that helped the company to turn its academic R&D into a full hi-tech project of a new level.
Igor Bogachev, VP, Executive Director of IT Cluster, Skolkovo Foundation: “The fact that DATADVANCE received the Industry prize proves that innovations work in this country and Russian companies can create programming products of the global level. The example of DATADVANCE shows how innovation lift works in Russia: in 2010 there was a team of young and ambitious specialists and in 6 years they receive the key prize at the largest industrial expo in Russia.”
The national industrial prize of the Russian Federation ‘Industry’ was established by the Russian Ministry of Trade in 2014 to promote the implementation of the state-of-the-art technologies in manufacturing companies and for public recognition of the cutting edge practices of the Russian companies.
This year four out of five companies featured in the Industry prize final are connected with Skolkovo. Apart from DATADVANCE they include Optimenga-777 (aerodynamic design for aviation industry) , Strizh Telematika (supervisory control of housing and public utilities with the help of energy efficiency equipment) and Scientific and Technical Center RATEC (explosive detection systems).
