Jean-Francois Balduchi, IASP President: “It’s the first time that the international IASP conference will be held in Russia where science parks and innovative development zones are growing rapidly. The importance of internationalization is constantly rising so at this conference we’ll be talking about the global mind and its huge importance for innovative communities in the context of growth and sustainability. For this reason we are extremely happy to invite you to Moscow to the 33rd annual global IASP conference and I’m sure that the program will be rather varied and relevant and will help to establish and strengthen business links.”
Renat Batyrov, the General Director of Skolkovo Technopark and Chairman of the Executive Committee of IASP 2016 Moscow: “There are over 100 technoprks in Russia, and around the world there are 500. Many of them were set up as part of state programs, but there are quite a few private technoparks. At this stage of development of the innovative ecosystem in Russia, the issue of creating efficient technoparks is especially relevant: we need to turn empty buildings and laboratories into centers of attraction for science and technology. Technoparks shall first of all help startups commercialize their projects and bring them to international markets. At IASP 2016 Moscow provides an opportunity to learn about the latest trends in the development of technoparks from leading experts in the field and in addition the event will provide a unique venue for sharing experience and networking. The event is being held in Russia for the first time and we call on everyone who is interested in developing innovative entrepreneurship to come and attend it in September.”
The IASP 2016 Moscow conference will be held at the following venues:
The conference is organized by Skolkovo innovation center, the Moscow State University Science Park and Strogino technopark, with the support of the Moscow government.
