Contact Trip for Skolkovo Companies to

Berlin 5-7 December 2012

Berlin is a major economic and financial centre not only in Germany, but in the EU as a whole. Discover the new side of Berlin for yourself: learn more about the opportunities for research and innovative companies, and for the promotion and development of your business in the European market.

We invite all Skolkovo companies to participate! The main innovation areas are optical technology and photonics, new materials and micro systems technology; information and communications technology; environmental technology, biotechnology and energy technology as well as advanced biomedical technology. These are the key areas in Skolkovo's partner technoparks of Adlershof (http://www.аdlershоf.de) and Berlin-Buch (http://www.саmpus-berlin-buсh.de), in conjunction with which the trip is organised.

Thursday, 6 December

9.30-10 Registration. Opening of the poster session – Skolkovo companies' posters may also be displayed.

- Skolkovo and the opportunities for the development of international cooperation;
- Presentation of Skolkovo companies

10 – 11 Russian-German innovation forum

Participants: Skolkovo companies, representatives of the German science and technology parks of Adlershof and Berlin-Buсh, as well as German companies, start-ups, entrepreneurs and investors

Forum Programme:

Opening address by a representative of the Berlin Senate;
Business opportunities in Berlin, particularly for the development of scientific activities and start-ups.
Presentation of the science and technology parks of Adlershof and Berlin-Buсh;

11 – 12 Coffee break, socialising, viewing the posters

12 – 14 Scheduled bilateral business meetings in the B2B format as well as the continuation of the companies' poster session. Interpreting services are provided for B2B meetings. Meetings are arranged for Skolkovo companies in advance according to their wishes

15 – 16 Visit and a tour of the largest German science and technology park of Adlershof (http://www.аdlershоf.de)

16.30-18 Visits to local companies and enterprises based on the wishes and business areas of the companies

Free evening

Friday, 7 December

8 – 11.30 (14.00) Visits to local companies and enterprises based on the wishes and business areas of the companies, as well as the opportunity to continue the talks of the previous day

12 – 13 Visit to the science and technology park of Berlin-Buch (http://www.campus-berlin-buch.de) whose major activities are health care and biomedicine.

13 – 14 Lunch with German businessmen and entrepreneurs – sharing their success stories, talking to the local media

Cost of the Trip

17,600 roubles + 18% VAT per person, including:

Participation in the entire programme;
Search and selection of business contacts based on the participant's request for bilateral meetings and talks in Berlin;
Interpreting services at the innovation forum as well as during bilateral talks.
Transportation during the joint business programme of the visit to Berlin.

Costs that the Companies Pay Themselves:

Travel to Berlin and back to the participating city in Russia.
Hotel accommodation. Suggested hotel: Park Inn Radisson Berlin (www.parkinn-berlin.de).
Obtaining a visa. An invitation letter can be arranged for obtaining a visa, if necessary.
