Antilatency's Tracking System Surpasses Microsoft and Valve Developments
According to research results by the Virtual Dimension Center Fellbach, a german center of competence, the positional tracking system by the company, Antilatency, a Skolkovo (VEB.RF) resident, is now recognized as one of the best for VR projects. The Russian-made solution surpassed developments by large companies such as Microsoft and Valve.
Researchers conducted fifty measurements of two points in space by studying the tracking quality, one of which was located close to the VR headset, while the second was at a distance of 50cm. The measurements were conducted using the three axes X, Y, and Z; they then compared the deviation between the positions and errors down to the thousandths.
According to the review by the independent European center, the accuracy of Antilatency's positional tracking system surpassed the Lighthouse tracking system by Valve, and also tracking devices such as Oculus Quest/Quest2, Rift S, Pico Neo 2, Windows Mixed Reality, etc.

Apart from accuracy, the main competitive advantages of Antilatency's system are ease of scalability and system maintenance, a broad product range, the compact size of the trackers, and compatibility with a wide range of devices and software. As a result, the technology is used primarily for virtual production. In addition, the low latency allows you to avoid motion sickness - nausea caused by image output delays in the VR - and has achieved near-reality sensations allowing for deep immersion into the process.
The market is relatively young, and in 2020 it had an estimated value of $1.4 billion and is projected to reach $4.7 billion by 2028.
