Nikolay Yakovenko

Open University Skolkovo

Nikolay has been working as a PR manager at the Open University Skolkovo since 2012. He is in charge of PR, publicizing and developing the image of the OpUS.

He is a participant of “The Revolution of emerging technologies. Forecast for the future”, a Singularity University program.

Nikolay graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2004. While at university, he was a member of the Students’ Committee and was in charge of the international relations. He was trained in project management at “Proektnaya PRAKTIKA”, a corporate group.

From 1997 to 2004, he worked as an assistant to the Vice Dean at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Lomonosov Moscow State University (Department of International Educational Programs). He also worked as a translator at the UPC Consulting, AETS, The PBN Company. He translated Russian media publications, presentations and press releases. Nikolay participated in the organization of the First World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport and worked on the set of "The Legend of 17" film.

He is the co-founder of the Latinofiesta Cultural Center, one of the organizers of  the Festival of Latin American cinema, as well as the founder of "Slovofabrika" language center
