Technopark Skolkovo took part in the startup investment pitch where the opportunities of the new online StartupTV project were used.
Anna Nikina, the head of the development of business partnerships, who represented Technopark Skolkovo in the jury, explained to Sk.ru that, as part of the New Year's competition of the startup investment pitch, investment projects, which were in different stages of development, had an opportunity to deliver a presentation and get immediate feedback from leading investment companies, foundations and innovation organisations.
The advantage of this format is, particularly, in the instant feedback and the absence of geographical constraints as the competition is held onlineAnna Nikina.
The jury assessed the quality of the pitch itself.
If you draw here a parallel with the work of the jury in figure skating, both technical and artistic skills were important for success in the competition. I focused, first of all, on those parameters that are important to investors such as the size of the necessary investment, the composition of the team, the understanding of the size and capacity of the target marketsaid Anna.
The company Totallics, that was highly praised by the jury, took the second place in the competition along with the winning prize – the One Day at Technopark Skolkovo certificate. In such competitions, it is particularly valuable if the prizes contribute to the development of the winners' innovative projects. For example, members of Tоtаlliсs will have an amazing opportunity to plunge into the life of Skolkovo and to make use of the workplace at Technopark, further improve investment presentation skills through attending pitch training, get advice at the Career Centre on setting up an efficient team as well as, if necessary, carry out demonstration work at one of the five Centres of Collective Use.
