The Brussels Dialogue forum organized by Rossotrudnichestvo took place in the EU capital, in which representatives of the Skolkovo Foundation participated, as well as two Skolkovo companies: ExoAtlet and 3D-Tek.

Alexander Fertman mentioned the high level of foreign participants taking part in the dialogue, including the well-known economist Bruno Bernard, representatives of the European Union and the regional authorities of Belgium: “They spoke very positively about Russia, noting the importance of cooperation with Russian scientists and entrepreneurs who are actively working with Europeans.”
There was a separate round table in which Alexander Fertman, Olga Avryasova, project director for robotics and artificial intelligence, and Ekaterina Bereziy, co-founder of ExoAtlet, took part.
The start-up, which produces medical exoskeletons, has its headquarters in Luxembourg, from where Ekaterina came to meet them. Recently, the company has also been manufacturing industrial exoskeletons.

3D-Tek also demonstrated its products in Belgium, in particular, the interpolation screen, which remained in Brussels for further use in the work of the Russian House of Science and Culture.
“The opportunities for technological collaboration were discussed at the round table,” says the Director of Science, Technology and Education of the Foundation. - This discussion was attended by a representative of the Flanders government, Mark Van Gastel, who is responsible for technology. He is well acquainted with the Leuven University, with which Skolkovo has long-standing ties, and Skoltech in particular has an agreement concerning materials science. Dr. Martin Hinul of Leuven University is a former consultant to the Skolkovo Foundation, and Mr. Van Gastel is currently working with him.

According to him, Flanders is interested in continuing cooperation not only in material-intensive areas, where today there are some common Russian-Belgian start-ups, but also in terms of numbers, artificial intelligence. FIOP Rusnano is particularly active in this direction, but they have few such digital projects, and in this sense, the Belgian side is interested in cooperation with Skolkovo and Skoltech.
“In my speech, I noted that each country is interested in developing competencies, and since Russia has a very strong mathematics school, we are very much open to cooperation in the field of big data, artificial intelligence, advanced production technologies, i.e. mathematics, serving the industry, AR / VR, robotics - in particular, the one that the Skolkovo Company - ExoAtlet is engaged in.
“We showed the participants of the round table other projects of the Skolkovo participants, which we expect will be involved in the Digital Economy programme,” said Alexander Fertman.
