On September 27 through 30, 2011 based on the Moscow Business School Skolkovo (Moscow oblast, Skolkovo Village) ROSATOM and Skolkovo Foundation jointly organize International Training Workshop on Advanced Structural and Functional Materials.
The Workshop aimed at discussing the current status and evaluating perspective directions of the development of advanced structural and functional materials (ASFM). The main goals of the Workshop: to identify key technology directions and to foresee the priorities with respect to ASFM development for the next 15-20 years, as well as to discuss existing global, national and corporate Centers of Competence in the field of ASFM, taking into account both Russian context and global tendencies and trends.
The Workshop will be run with participation of representatives of global technology companies that are customers of new materials, leading ASFM developing companies as well as Centers of Competence for ASFM development and R&D Institutions and Universities. The presentations of invited experts will serve as a frameworks and a basis for broad communication and discussions of certain development plans and strategic considerations regarding ASFM. Key participants – representatives of ROSATOM’ Affiliated Companies, RAS’ R&D Centers, Leading Russian Technical Universities, International and Leading Russian Technology Corporations, Leading Foreign Research Laboratories and Universities, Skolkovo’ Residents (incl. prospective), etc.
