Today in "Innoprom-2012" the Skolkovo Foundation signed a bilateral agreement with the Bashkortostan Republic, which covers a wide range of issues in the sphere of innovations, science, R&D, high-tech economy, support of young engineering talents and other areas. On behalf of the Foundation the agreement was signed by the Skolkovo VP in charge of government relations Stanislav Naumov and on behalf of Bashkotorstan by its minister for economic development Eugene Mavrin.
The Foundation will assist Bashkotorstan in facilitating foreign investment as well as highly skilled international specialists into the republic. It will also be in charge of incorporating local companies and entrepreneurs in innovations, including manufacturing of working samples and other assignments.
The Skolkovo Foundation will also help Bashkotorstan to train, upgrade skills and educate its labour force and will invite its students to take part in Skolkovo's educational programs.
The Republic of Bashkortostan will inform the Foundation about perspective researches, conducted by the brightest scientists and students of the republic.
The agreement demonstrated a very high interest of the republic in participation at Skolkovo, and the Foundation expressed its interest to see high-tech companies from Bashkotorstan as its residents.
