On June 20, 2013 a panel session of the working group “Innovative Development as Global Priority” was conducted at the summit of “Business Twenty” (B20) in the frameworks of SPIEF. The meeting was headed by the chairman of the group, President of the Skolkovo Foundation Viktor Vekselberg. At the meeting recommendations of the group were submitted today in the “Green Book”, which will become the basis of the “White Book” to be presented to the political leaders of the G20 countries.
At 11:30 a B20 plenary session “Transition to a new model of economic growth – priority of B20 in 2013” was conducted.
Participants discussed the necessity of strengthening collaboration between state bodies and business structures for overcoming the complex economic situation in the world and completing the transition to steady growth in the foreseeable future.
On the same day Skolkovo Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a Dutch non-commercial organization SurfNet.
The document was signed by Edward Crawley, President of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technologies, and Ervin Bleumink, CEO SurfNet. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Arkadiy Dvorkovich and Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte.
Two important signings took place. Skolkovo Foundation presented by I. Bogachev signed an agreement on cooperation with a non-commercial Foundation for Support of Innovations “Web Ready” presented by its president I. Kalashnikova.
Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technologies (Skoltech) signed an agreement on cooperation with Saint-Petersburg State University.
