Only in its fifth year and yet already a fixture on the European startup calendar, Startup Village matches investors with innovators in an open-air festival of entrepreneurship. Planned to be held over two summer days on 6-7 June 2017 at the Skolkovo Innovations Center, Startup Village incorporates lively debates, interactive startup exhibitions, and the startup pitch sessions - the culmination of the Russian Startup Tour that sees the top innovators receive funding and the chance to become Skolkovo residents.
Startup Village is a key initiative of the Skolkovo Foundation. It brings together startup communities from across Russia and other countries with a total of 20,000 participants 4,000 startups, 800 investors from over 40 countries.
Winners of Startup Village 2016
Believable and Unbelievable Tech Forecasts session will present the coolest existing trends that will develop in smart cities, IoT, space technologies and their unusual applications. The Era of Share: How to Earn on Joint Consumption will bring together the leaders of the joint consumption economy, including the founders of Gett, Indiegogo, BlaBlaCar, Avito. The Investment Track will feature the most promising investment industries for startups at seed stage.

1. Conference
The program of the conference includes 150 interactive sessions dedicated to studying hi-tech trends, new markets creation, transformation of business models and integration of breakthrough technologies into business practice. The format of the event allows founders of startups to get first hand contacts with gurus of tech entrepreneurship and business leaders.
2. Pitch competition
If you have a ready for market product or a prototype and your revenue is over 15K euro (1m rubles), you can take part in the Pitch Contest of Companies. The prize fund is 80K euro for the first place; 50K euro for the second place and 30K euro for the third place. Of course, you’ll get a heightened interest from top investors, VC, top managers of big corporations, Russian and international media. If you have a genious idea, but you are still in the beginning of your way, welcome to the Contest of Ideas. It gives an opportunity to win 15K euro and get valuable feedback from our experts and mentors.
3. Startup Bazaar
An expo of projects where young innovative companies showcase their prototypes, products and services. This year the Startup Bazaar will feature 150 projects of Russian and foreign companies.

About the Skolkovo Foundation
The Skolkovo Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in September 2010 by the Russian government with the objective of accelerating Russia’s transformation from a resource-intensive to an innovation-based economy.
