Chairman Dvorkovich headed the delegation to Belgrade on February 17, during which he met with Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić. The visit  was part of an effort to enhance cooperation between Serbia’s Science Technology Park (STP) Belgrade and Skolkovo Innovation Center. At the beginning of the visit, Mr. Dvorkovich gave an interview on Tanjug Serbian state news agency, which was hosted by Marjan Stojanovich, the head of the ICT Association of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia. Accompanied by Smiljana Milanovich of the Office of the Prime Minister, Mr. Dvorkovich was then given a guided tour of the Museum of Nikola Tesla and the Temple of St. Sava. In the afternoon, the Skolkovo Foundation chairman met with the Serbian PM and members of the Office of the Prime Minister.

Following this, pitch sessions and B2B meetings between Skolkovo and STP companies took place. The Skolkovo companies partaking were Botkin.AI, Group-IB, CERA, G-Core Labs, Rapid Bio LLC, Efferon JSC, and UserGate. The companies represent the Skolkovo Foundation's IT cluster, among them Botkin.AI, which recently received the CE marker for its AI platform designed to detect cancer and other diseases early.

Mr. Dvorkovich expressed a positive outlook on the prospects of future cooperation between the two innovation centers and stated:

“It is my honor and pleasure to be here at the Science Technology Park Belgrade. Our residents have made great pitches about what they are doing and some of the solutions are at an early stage, while others are ready for market. We will certainly be promoting some of the Serbian companies’ solutions in Russia, and we have also found opportunities for Russian solutions that were developed with the support of Skolkovo; we are trying to show that this is exactly the kind of collaboration where we can trust each other and present our developments. We will continue exchanging ideas and solutions and, based on our ten years of experience, we are sharing all the knowledge and information that we have built up in our innovation system. I hope that we will see at least the same kind of system here in a few years. Serbia is at the heart of Europe and has great potential to enter other EU markets and, for some Russian companies, it is a good hub through which to enter other markets. I am optimistic about the future of our cooperation.”
