For the second year running the Skolkovo Innovation Center is holding one of the world's top events in biotechnology.

In 2013, a conference on regenerative medicine was held, presenting to Russia leading experts in the field and generating huge interest and audience participation.

This year, a very topical theme in the development of regenerative medicine has been chosen - the technology of bioprinting.

The International Conference on Bioprinting and Biofabrication will cover the following topics:

  • The technologies of biofabrication, bioprinting, and organ bioprinting;
  • Cell technologies, cellular engineering;
  • Engineering and technical solutions to elements of the bioprinting technological platform;
  • Material engineering: bio-ink, bio-paper;
  • Legislative framework, including registering and certification of cellular and tissue constructors
  • Implementation in practical healthcare

The conference will feature presentations from a host of leading international and Russian scientists. Among the presentations will be the unveiling of Russia's first bioprinter, produced by 3D Bioprinting Solutions.
