SpaceUp Skoltech

Number of Participants: 80-100 (maximum) [including VIPs and students from outside Skoltech]. Participants will have to register through website.

Purpose: SpaceUp is a worldwide leading space ‘unconference’ platform specifically designed for free exchange of ideas.

It will be the first ever Space Up in Russia - Skoltech will be the pioneer by organizing it!
To facilitate discussion about new and interdisciplinary ideas among space enthusiasts.
Active participation and presentation of Skoltech students’ work in space domain.
The participants can talk or present on any chosen space-related topic from any discipline like astrophysics, cosmology, engineering, biochemistry, human physiology, business, law, policy, arts, culture, fiction, etc.
We plan to invite guest speakers who are expert in their respective fields for the panel discussion on “Future of Human Spaceflight post ISS”. The discussion will focus on different aspects such as humanistic factors, technology and policies, including present development and future projects.

Expected Results:

Outreach and advertisement of Skoltech Space Centre CREI,
Possible collaboration with students from other universities and space companies for research,
Attract students for admissions in Skoltech

T-5 talks are ignite-format talks. Participants give a presentation with slides, this is the format for you: each speaker gets 5 minutes to talk, with maximum 10 slides. (scheduled before hand)
Session Grid : 10-15 minutes sessions that can take the form of a talk, a Q&A, or a project demo (Decided on-spot or can be scheduled before hand) on a grid board.
