On 16–17 September 2011, the Skolkovo Foundation will host a number of events on the agenda of the X INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT FORUM SOCHI-2011

16 September

  • 16.00Energy Efficiency round table session; address by Ekaterina Dyachenko, acting executive director, Energy Efficient Technologies Cluster of the Skolkovo Foundation (Pavilion 14, Hall 3).

 

17 September

  • 08.00–10.00 – Presentation of i+U magazine about Skolkovo and the urban environment for Forum guests and media at Limpopo Restaurant (Zhemchuzhina Hotel, pool zone).
  • 10.00–12.00 – Panel discussion “Russia–Europe: Strategy, Dialogue, Investment” with President of the Skolkovo Foundation Viktor Vekselberg.
  • 13.00–15.00 – Panel discussion “Skolkovo – a City in Four Dimensions: Ergonomic, Environmentally Friendly, Energy-Efficient and Economical”.

Arkady Chernetsky, member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and Alexander Yakob, mayor of Ekaterinburg, will be guests at the panel discussion.

Establishment of the Green Cities Association will be announced at the event.

In parallel to the panel discussions, Skolkovo representatives will take part in other Forum events:

Alexander Turkot, executive director of the IT Cluster, and Ekaterina Gaika, project manager, will participate in the round table session “Technology Transfer: an Opportunity to Make Russia’s Economy More Competitive” (09.30–11.30, Marins Park Hotel, Panorama Hall)

– Maxim Mikhailov, project manager of the Energy Efficient Technologies Cluster, will participate in the round table session “Current Trends in Alternative Energy. New Opportunities for International Cooperation and the Financing of Joint Projects” (10.00–12.00, Zhemchuzhina Hotel, Orekhovy Hall)

– Igor Goryanin, executive director of the Biomedicine Cluster, and Andrei Komolov, deputy executive director of the cluster, will participate in the round table session “The Pharma Market. On the Brink of a Boom” (10.00–12.00, Zhemchuzhina Hotel, Pod Lyustroy Hall)

– Alexander Lupachev, chief Investment officer, will participate in the round table session “Developing Entrepreneurship in the Context of Active State Support” (10.00–12.00, Marins Park Hotel, Panorama Hall)

  • 15.30 – Signing of a co-operation agreement between the Skolkovo Foundation and the National Agency for Low-Rise and Detached Residence Development (NAMIKS) (Pavilion 10 – Riviera, Dvorkovich Chess Parlour).

The agreement will be signed by:

Viktor Maslakov, vice-president, city manager of Skolkovo Innovation Centre, and

Elena Nikolaeva, president of NAMIKS.
