Art Business Company, a participant of Skolkovo Innovation Center, is developing the one-of-a-kind motorbike navigation helmet that features augmented reality and voice control technologies. Its future owners are going to touch the futuristic technology formerly seen only in sci-fi movies.

The Android based device will feature:

  • GPS/GLONASS navigation
  • voice control
  • 3G
  • LTE
  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth
  • high-capacity batteries
  • headset functionality
  • built-in Full HD camera
  • performance similar to current top smartphones

The helmet will be made of carbon fiber and weight only 2.2 lbs.

The image is projected right on the helmet visor just like in a fighter gromit, it’s full-color, translucent, provides unobstructed view and doesn’t distract the driver's atttention. Voice control keeps both hands free for driving.

Unlike usual navigators, letting alone paper maps, the new helmet makes the wayfinding comfortable and safe. Despite sophisticated modern technologies being at the heart of product it is going to be user-friendly and easy to use.

The project got support of Skolkovo Foundation. With its financial support optical, electronic and software prototypes were created.

The project rised to international fame, its teaser video has almost 400K views by now.

The company is going to take part in the TechCrunch Disrupt event in San Francisco on 7-11 of September. On this occasion it is going to hold a number of press conferences in three states of the USA:

  • New York - Friday, September 6, 7-9 PM
  • San Francisco - Sunday, September 8, 7-9 PM
  • Los Angeles - Saturday, September 21, 7-9 PM

Attendees will be able to see the prototypes (optical, electronic and software), to meet the startup team (CEO and one of the crew members) and to ask any questions regarding the project.

Motorbikers are especially welcome. We are developing our product for you and need your opinions and ideas.

Waiting to see you soon,
