The “Skoltech Projects” platform, accessible at projects.skoltech.ru, went live recently with the details of 16 business projects displayed in a list of clickable icons.

Skoltech says the motivation for the platform is three-fold: to create a positive image of the institute that fosters science and entrepreneurship for engagement in real projects; for students to obtain valuable feedback about their projects; and for the non-Skoltech audience to “get a clear vision of the projects and activities led at Skoltech.”

Each entry describes the project and the team behind it, with a logo attached. Users can leave feedback under any entry they wish.

More than half of Skoltech students can be classed as entrepreneurs with their own businesses.

Skoltech is a private graduate research institute created in 2011 in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It is a central component of the Skolkovo innovations ecosystem and educates global leaders in innovation, advances scientific knowledge, and fosters new technologies to address critical issues facing Russia and the world.
