On November, 1, President of the Foundation for the Development of the Center of Development and Commercialization of High Technologies (Skolkovo Foundation) Viktor Vekselberg approved staffing chart of the Foundation and made the first appointments.

As President of the “Skolkovo” Foundation Viktor Vekselberg pointed out, “the formation of the Foundation team has started, and it includes real professionals in their fields. Oleg Alekseev

Born in 1953. Graduated from Moscow State Historical Archives Institute. In 2002 headed the Center for Strategic Research of the Volga Federal District. Since 2003 - Director of Human Resources and Corporate Relations in the Renova Group. Vice-President, Chief Operating Officer for Education and Research.

 

Igor Goryanin

 

Born in 1962. Graduated from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, majoring in applied mathematics. Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics, specialty biophysics. Since 1997 he has worked in one of the leading pharmaceutical companies GlaxoSmithKline in senior positions. Since 2005, Professor, University of Edinburgh (UK) in the field of bioinformatics and systems biology. Head of the Laboratory of Biological Systems, the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (Japan). Biomedicine Cluster Development Officer of Skolkovo Innovation Center.

 

Pavel Korolyov



Born in 1960. Graduated from the Financial and Economic Institute. From 1996 to 2002 worked in Germany, where he headed the office of the Academy of Economics and Business in Russia. From 2002 to 2004, First Deputy Director General - Chief Financial Officer of the Moscow Center for International Cooperation of the Government of Moscow. From 2004 to 2009, Counsellor, Deputy Director of the Department of property relations and reforming of the Ministry of Transport of Russia. Since 2009, has worked in the Government Office of the Russian Federation, later, Deputy Head of the Governor of Sverdlovsk region. Vice-President, Chief Administrative Officer of Skolkovo Foundation.


Viktor Maslakov

 

Born in 1969. Graduated from Ural State University named after M. Gorky, and the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation. Doctor of Economics. Served as Chairman of the Committee on Economy of the Administration of Yekaterinburg, and  the Deputy Minister of Economy and Labour of Sverdlovsk region. From 2005 to 2010, CEO, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Renova Stroy Group. City Manager of Skolkovo Innovation Center.

 

Roman Romanovsky

 

Born in 1977. Graduated from St. Petersburg State Engineering and Economics Academy with a degree in Automated control systems in production. From 2007 to 2010 he worked at United Aircraft Corporation as Deputy Director of Corporate Finance. From 2010 - Head of investment planning and technical development of the “Corporation Irkut”. Operating Director for Key Partners of Skolkovo Innovation Center.


Aleksey Sitnikov

 

Born in 1973. Graduated from the Department of History of Yaroslavl State University in 1995. In 1996 received a Master of Arts degree Political Science at Central European University in Budapest and in 1997 from Stanford University (USA) .   In 2001, he completed the PhD program at the Department of Political Science at Stanford University with specialization in comparative politics, international relations and organizational theory From 1999 to 2005 served as Director of programs for Russia and CIS at Stanford Institute for International Studies. Since 2003, co-founder and Vice-President of Global Technology Symposium at Stanford University. From 2009 to 2014 served as Advisor to the Governor of the Kirov region. From 2005 to 2010 - Vice President for Operations and Development at the  New Economic School. From 2010 to 2011 served as Director of International Development Department of Skolkovo Foundation.


Vyacheslav Solonitsyn

 

Born in 1982. Graduated from Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University, majoring in Physics and Technology of Optical Communication. Holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Diploma from University of London Imperial College of Science, Techology and Medicine. The founder of a venture capital company RUVENTO. Director General of the managing company RUVENTU Asset Management. Headed the Center for Technology Commercialization of Moscow Financial-Industrial Academy. Chief Investment Officer of Skolkovo Innovation Center.


Alexander Turkot



Born in 1961. Graduated from the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute named after Biruni, specialty electrical systems. Ph.D. in Economics. From 1991, worked in various structures of IBM. Led IT projects in the U.S., Israel, Japan, South Africa, Switzerland, France and England. From 2007 to 2009, Director General of “My Space – Russia”. IT Cluster Development Officer of Skolkovo Innovation Center.

 

About the Skolkovo Innovation Center Project:

Skolkovo Innovation Center is a new town aimed to provide special economic conditions for companies operating in the priority sectors of Russia's economic modernization, such as: space and telecommunications, medical equipment and pharmaceuticals, energy efficiency, information technology, and nuclear technology. The main aim of the Foundation is to create in Skolkovo a special environment that will help concentrating intellectual resources and successfully produce innovations.
